So what
What it means for you
-
First place is a comparison
A top position means a casino compares well on our inputs. It does not give a new brand a history.
-
Age is visible on every row
Each casino shows its founding year and the date it joined our list, so you can see how new it really is.
-
Check before you deposit
Use the six checks on each review, starting with the licence on the regulator's register.

The order of casinos on NewCasinoRank comes from one ranking method applied across the CasinoRank network. It uses the same inputs for every casino and is adjusted for the market, which on this site is the UK. A filter comes first: only new casinos can enter a new-casino ranking.
Which casinos count as new
A casino counts as new when the founding year it states is this calendar year or one of the two years before. That gives three age bands, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3, shown as a stamp on every casino. Casinos founded earlier are marked Established; they keep their review but do not appear in our new-casino rankings. A casino that states no founding year is treated the same way, because we cannot show that it is new.
If a page's own ranking has fewer than three new casinos, the page shows the site-wide ranking with the same age filter and says so under the table.
What decides the order
Within the new casinos, the position comes from several inputs taken together. No single input decides a place.
- The licences the casino states, and whether one of them is a UK Gambling Commission licence on the public register
- The casino's terms, including bonus and withdrawal rules
- The welcome offer for the UK, as stated by the casino
- The games and studios the casino lists
- The payment methods it lists, including whether a deposit method can also take a payout
- Whether it accepts players from the UK
When a ranking changes
A casino's position changes when one of its inputs changes: a new or lost licence, new terms, a different offer or a change in the countries it accepts. Positions also shift as newer casinos join our list, and a casino leaves the new-casino rankings when its founding year falls outside the three-year window.
We reassess a casino straight away when there is a verified risk to players, a licensing or regulatory change, a payment problem or unclear terms. A casino that loses or surrenders its UK licence, or stops taking British players, drops off our lists.
What we do not use
Commission is not an input. We earn money when you sign up at some casinos through our links, but that does not move a casino up or down, and it does not change its founding year, its licence check or any other check on its review. We do not sell places in our rankings, and we do not move a casino for a short-term promotion.
Reviews and rankings
A review looks at one casino in detail: its age, licences, UK status, offer, games, payments and the six checks before a first deposit. The ranking compares casinos side by side on the inputs above. The review method is on how we review, and the current ranking is on our front page.
Questions about our rankings
Which casinos can appear in your new-casino rankings?
Casinos whose stated founding year is this year or one of the two years before. Older casinos and casinos that state no founding year keep their review but do not appear in those rankings.
Why can the ranking differ between countries?
Rankings take into account which casinos accept players from where you are. On this site they are set for the UK, so a casino that does not take British players is not shown at the top of a list.
Can a casino pay to rank higher?
No. We earn commission on some links, but commission is not an input to the ranking, and it does not change a casino's founding year, licence status or check results.
Why did a casino drop in the ranking?
Usually because a fact changed: its licence, its terms, the countries it accepts or its offer. A new casino can also move down as newer, stronger casinos join our list.
Is the casino in first place the safest?
Not necessarily. A ranking compares casinos on our inputs; it cannot give a new brand a track record. Run the six checks on its review before your first deposit.
