The launch
Betty opened in Ontario and built its brand around a casino-only product. Its UK site went live on 1 June 2026, two months after the UK licence became active, and the company describes the UK business as the first test of a franchise model it wants to repeat in other regulated markets.
The market it enters
Betty launched into a tougher UK market than brands that arrived a few years ago. Remote gaming duty doubled to 40% in April 2026, welcome bonuses have been capped at 10 times wagering since January 2026, and slot stakes are limited to £5 a spin, or £2 for players under 25. Those rules cut how much a new brand can spend on headline offers.
What it means for you
Betty plays under the same British rules as every UK-licensed casino. As a new brand here it has no UK payout history, so check its domain on the Commission's public register, start with a small deposit and request an early withdrawal. For other new launches, see our new casinos in the UK page.
